The long-awaited, much-anticipated, feature-filled firmware update that Sony announced at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany is now live. Head on over to ‘System Update’ in your PlayStation 3’s XMB and get to downloading this new firmware update now.

• “What’s New” – The “Information Board” will be replaced with a “What’s New” section, which allows you to enjoy interactive PlayStation news every time you start the PS3 system.
