Verizon Motorola Sholes MOTOBLUR not working?

>> Tuesday, October 6, 2009

We had been hearing rumors that the Sholes Motorola on Verizon would not be running MOTOBLUR because it being a "Google Experience" device, and although it seems stupid at first, it certainly seems like the device Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam was waving around this morning was running stock Android। How can we say? To begin, Blur has a different 3G icon in the toolbar and menu icons for many different applications - calendar jumps without us here. Moreover, what appears to be the Android search box default hidden there, something that is not part of the home screen of Blur. It's really odd, considering given the size of a bet Motorola seemed to be on Blur differentiator as the handset - and doubly strange, since the HTC Eric Schmidt Hero was the same photo op Sense ran on top of Android. We will see how it shakes when the Sholes is actually launched, but for now we'd say these rumors are looking terribly true.
